History Has Been Made!!

Did you stay up and watch history being made?? Josh and I did. We were "glued to tube" (and to the computer while Addy watched Garfield)!!

What a night! I don't know about you, but I'm floored by the emotion that I saw in the reactions of my fellow Americans to the polls results. I have to admit I haven't ever been into politics in the past, and the last year has been no different, but last night while watching President Barack Obama's acceptance speech I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion! And to see and hear both Obama and McCain speak their respective speeches out of love for their country and respect for each other and America's decision... wow... what a fight they've had over the last few months. Now they can finally get some sleep... and so can many of us!

I look ahead to the next four years with hope, anticipation, and dread. There's a lot to be done in this country and I sure hope America has made the right decision in choosing her next president... personally, I think she has, but we will see. Regardless, we know that God is in control and I am positive that He has great things in store for us, so let's all put our political differences aside and start working together to get His work done!! Amen?? Amen!
