I just got off the phone with Grandma. She is doing soooo much better!! As soon as there is another bed available at the hospital, she will be out of ICU! I actually had to hang up early because she was in the middle of playing Farkle (sp??) with my mom & dad... which means she has a lot more energy than when I last spoke to her (I could totally tell this in her voice)! She's sitting up, eating, laughing... even being ornery! When I was talking to mom I heard Grandma in the background mess up on the game and then make fun of herself... which is a typical Grandma Arie thing. I can't really explain to you how hearing her do this little thing is such a relief to me.... you'd just have to play games with my family (particularly the women) to understand :)
